IN SHORT: HOW AND WHY
The motto “I’ll do it all myself!” and a bag from a well-known climbing brand that always left my bag full of chalk, led me to start making my own chalk bags.
SEWING combines the enjoyment I get from designing, sewing and climbing.
Unique and funky
Why should everyone be the same when we can be a little bit different? I love it when I can make a bag exactly the way you want it, in the colours that best enhance your eyes and biceps.
Sustainable
I try to make sure my products are made sustainably. Because I want the bag to stay with you for as long as possible, I make repairs possible whenever something breakes, gets torn or destroyed. The materials are easy to care for – the bags are machine washable at 30°C (or even better – handwashed).
Handmade in Slovenia
Everything – from the tailoring to the last stitched zipper – is made in my small printing/sewing shop.
BUT WHO IS DOING IT ANYWAY?
Tina Sekolonik -e 1. a person who enjoys the moment / 2. a person surrounded by nature, animals and friends; in spare time, usualy behind a sewing machine, in a hammock, on a climbing wall, with a dog by her side or on an adventure into the unknown.
PS: Yes, sometimes I dress up as a kangaroo.
When I get an idea, I design it, print the fabric and throw it together (usually) in a chalk bag.
I’ll do some other projects too, but you’ll have to ask me nicely for that. 🙂
